研究テーマ
  先進国や一部の開発途上国においても糖尿病の増加は深刻な社会問題となっています。糖尿病の中でも生活習慣との関連が深い2型糖尿病を予防するには、肥満の予防・進行防止が不可欠です。本研究室では肝臓や脂肪組織、骨格筋における「脂質代謝・糖質代謝の制御機構」とそれら代謝に影響を及ぼす「食品成分の検索」、また最近では「酢酸の生理機能」に注目し「酢酸の体脂肪蓄積抑制効果」について動物や細胞レベルで研究を行っています。
